Today I called a local Chicago manufacturer to receive an accurate quote on manufacturing for my Zinc Lotuses. The lady who picked it up said she could give me a quote if I provided measurements and 3D blueprints of the item. I then researched a few sites to pick the best one to use (I ended up choosing Adobe illustrator) and made some diagrams. Throughout the process, I changed the design of the lotus to look more like a flower and less like a blocky shape. The measurements of the diagrams are also precise. When I was conducting my experiment to understand how much Zinc would be excreted by the volume of galvanized steel, I understood that my shape needed to be around 23 inches to excrete a safe amount of Zinc into their diet. You can't go above 40 mg of Zinc daily; receiving 8 mg for women, and 11 mg for men is recommended. With a single use of this lotus, you receive 3-5 mg, and if you use it three times a day, you receive 9-15 mg of Zinc - which is far from the limit. Therefore, this product is safe and would never infringe on zinc poisoning!
I included some of the new diagrams/measurements below!
